Hey guys, I'm Bob. I'm an illustrator here at Mashable. Now it's the 20th anniversary of the original release of Pokemon,so today I'm going to be imagining a 20 year-old millennial Pikachu. Pikachu's head is basically two ovals. So Pikachu has a pretty big head relative to his body. He's kind of got the dimensionsof, like, a baby. And he's got this kind of fat lump of a body. His feet kind of peak out from underneath his body. The classic Pikachu feature is also his tail which is shaped like a lightning bolt. And Pikachu, of course has those classic big, beady, jewely eyes. Eyes are wide set which gives him this cute look. Yeah okay, those aren't even at all. And of course he has the classic little Pikachu smile. You can see how Pikachu is basically designed to be the cutest thing imaginable. And, uh, since he's a millennial, we'll give him a little e-cig. Then we'll add in another fat arm here as Pikachu feeds his other addiction - caffeine. Because Pikachu is a young Pokemon trying to make it in the big city and you got tobe on the top of your game in this information economy. So he's got a coffee to go. Let's give him a little beanie up here. Pikachu is thinking about growing out some dreadlocksat some point but he's not sure yet. Let's give him a flannel shirt, shall we?And he'll have a collar but, you know, while we're at it he'll probably be even warmerand even more cool looking if he had like a scarf thing going on here. You know, maybe Pikachu hasn't done laundry in a while, he's been wearing this shirt. It's a little wrinkled. He's working on it, but maybe he's going to go back and visit his parents over the weekend,middle of next month, saving up some of his laundry so he can take it back with him andthey'll take care of it. And um, you know I might want to put this Pikachu in skinny jeans but he doesn't evenhave any legs really. And finally, this bright chipper smile can easily become a mustache. You know maybe he also hasn't shaved in a couple of days. There you go, there we have it. Millennial Pikachu. 20 year-old yuccie Pikachu. Uh, he's on his way to becoming a young urban professional.
